The itinerary for my Best day in Macau in 2025
On March 21, 2025, in the morning, I already had a busy program with my tourists, but then I planned a lot more – in one. At 1 p.m., after lunch at the Macau Tower, I took a taxi to A-Ma cultural village in Coloane. 20 minutes and already there.

I looked at such a very beautiful Taoist temple Tian Hou temple. Lots of wood carvings. Every tile on the roofs has prayers. Many people don’t even know that Macau has such an amazing place.
And next to it, at the highest point of the Coloana, there is a statue of the goddess A-Ma (Tian Hou).

And the view is so steep from this mountain! Just great, to Coloan, Taipu and the Macao Peninsula!

Before that, I had wondered how many times what kind of lighthouse was on the mountain.
The last time, a white lighthouse was also visible from the W Macau room. And it turns out to be a 20-meter statue with a backlight!
After examining the statue, I went down to Hak Sa Beach.







The sand on the beach is really black in places.
The Chinese were roasting meat and fish in the barbecue area, the children were splashing their legs in the sea, even two Russians were caught.
I walked along the beach, appreciated the strong houses and went out on a new path.





Then I took bus 21A to the Grand Lisboa Hotel, and then to the restaurant and walked to my hotel, the Golden Dragon Hotel, where I live permanently.
The entire route took about 3.5 hours.
I liked it even more than the passage of the Dragon’s Back trail in Hong Kong.
This was my third trip to Coloane.
I’ll do another article about another part of Kowloon next time.
