Macau airport

Macau International Airport was built in 1995.
Macau Airport is located on the island of Taipa and is adjacent to the new Taipa Ferry Terminal.
In 2006, the airport reached its maximum level in terms of passenger traffic – 5 million people per year.
Transfer from the airport to the main ferry terminal (on the Macau Peninsula) – about 15 minutes;
Transfer to the main border crossing point with China – 20 minutes
Transfer to the border post with China in the KOTAI area – 10 minutes.
The airport is open around the clock.

There are many free buses from the airport to luxury hotels.
There is a special bus route to the airport (marked AP1, MT1, MT2, N2, 26 and 36). These buses pass
through the streets of the city and stop at the main hotels.
