Beaches in Macau
There are 2 sea beaches in the southern part of Coloane Island.:
1. Cheoc Van Beach 竹灣海灘
There are restaurants with outdoor terraces, a swimming pool, the traditional Portuguese Pouzada hotel and a marine club that rents windsurfing and canoeing equipment.
The sand on this beach is an unusual black color, but it is covered with ordinary sand. The sea here will not make you want to swim!
But I took a swim! The sea is not so dirty and very warm!
I was here in July 2019 and I liked everything in principle – especially lunch at a cafe overlooking the sea!
You can get there by bus 26A. The journey will take 1 hour from the center. The price is 6 packs.

2.Hac Sa Beach Macau 黑沙海灘
This is a long beach: it stretches along the park and is a favorite vacation spot for families and for fans of various water sports.
In addition, there are several very famous Portuguese and Chinese restaurants right next to the beach.
You can get there by bus 26A to the terminal. The journey will take 1 hour from the center. The price is 6 packs.

Another interesting place: the reservoir and the park – ВВQ Hac Sa Reservoir Barbecue Park 黑沙水庫郊野公園
Near Hak Sa Beach, you can easily find this wonderful, beautifully arranged park, it is located among forested hills, ponds and waterfalls. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay with the whole family.
You can go boating and use barbecue areas.
