It is located not far (12 min walk) from the Cotai strip street, where all the casinos are, but nevertheless retains its charm and historical atmosphere. The charming alleys of Taipa Village are filled with traditional Chinese shops, beautifully painted colonial villas, stunning churches, ancient temples and a huge number of restaurants and a very busy street with various snacks.
For a first taste of local street food, we recommend visiting Rua do Cunha, which is considered the main and crowded street that runs through the entire Taipa Village. And then be sure to dive into the alleys – that’s where the most interesting and authentic things are!
I’ve been here about 10 times and I really liked everything!
