Macao Science Center Macau 澳門科學館
The Macau Science Center was designed by the world—renowned Chinese-American architect Im Pei. The center is easily recognizable by its silver-colored roof and conical shape. In the center there are fourteen galleries, which are arranged spirally and emphasize the shape of the arch. After Beijing and Hong Kong, Macau is the third largest city in the world.,
with 8000×8000 pixels of screen equipment. The center also produces 3D effects in the space theater planetarium, using a high-definition 3D projection system. The world’s first digital system, which is simultaneously equipped with ultra-high definition and 3D visual effects, was designed to
provide visitors with an entertaining and educational opportunity to travel into the fascinating world of science.
In addition, an exact mock-up of the Shenzhou-VII spacecraft and models of automatic intelligent robots are on display here.
