The complex of sports facilities located on the island of Taipa, along Avenida Olimpica Street, includes the Macau Olympic Stadium, a multi-purpose sports area, a field hockey center, a badminton center, a water sports center and basketball courts.
1. The stadium covers an area of 35,585 square meters and is suitable for several sports, as well as for various cultural events: from athletics to football, all kinds of sports ceremonies or concerts.
2. The Water Sports Center is located on an area of over 10,000 square meters. It includes a diving pool with an adjustable depth (up to 5 meters) and a classic 50-meter pool with 10 lanes.
Swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo competitions are held here.
3. The Field hockey center. The Macau Hockey Stadium meets the strictest standards of the International Field Hockey Federation. It covers an area of 11,600 square meters and provides athletes with a top-class artificial grass surface with a long acceleration track.
