Macao LRT – Light Rail Transit metro launched in Macau 10 december 2019
Use is free until December 31, 2019! And in the future, 6.8 or 10 paths, depending on the distance.
It is expected that 20 thousand people will use the light metro every day.
The project was discussed in 2002, and construction began in 2011.
The LRT Taipa Line is 9.3 km long and has 11 stations. 1.3 billion US dollars were invested in it.
In the future (by 2024), the light metro will be expanded to the areas of Hengqin, Barra and Seac Pai Van and another 700 thousand US dollars will be invested.
