The last 2 times I was in Macau, I had trouble finding a currency exchange office or at least an ATM. Previously, there were exchangers every 30 meters. Many banks are closed on weekends.
It’s also not easy to catch a taxi or take a taxi in the Macau Taxi app – drivers don’t want to go, they say, look for us yourself. So we walk to a big hotel, and there are always plenty of taxis there. I took a bus from the peninsula to the island. They weren’t allowed on the bus without a mask! I pay as always conveniently – via a MacauPass card or the Mpay app (I top up with 7eleven patacks).
I stopped by Dufy Free and took a bunch of goods to a client from Guangzhou (I have a platinum discount at Dufry).
