Macau consists of a historic peninsula and an island with a casino. The airport is just a 10-minute drive from the casino area, where most hotels are located.
So it’s not far to get there.
The airport in Macau is small. The arrival hall is an oblong room.
There is an exchanger. You can’t go anywhere without the local currency, so it’s worth changing a bit. (if you take the free bus, then you don’t have to change).
There is a vending machine with SIM cards. They are cheap and accept only local currency. Most tourists do not worry and connect roaming in advance for a couple of days.

As you exit, there is a parking lot for free shuttle buses to the hotels on the right. Look at the signs and get in the right queue.
