Lou Lim Leok garden Macau
At the end of the 19th century, one of the city’s most famous residents, Low Kau, built this garden in the classic Suzhou style, with miniature bamboo forests, a pond, artificial concrete slides and observation decks. A Victorian-style house was also built here, where many famous guests, such as Sun Yat-sen, came. When the family was forced to sell the house, the government acquired it and carried out a complete restoration. Today, this place is very popular: martial arts and ballroom dancing are taught here, and families also come here to relax and unwind.
