The Londoner London-style casino hotel opened in Macau on February 8, 2021.
Not to be confused with the hotel Londoner Grand Macau, which opened in 2024. And also with the Londoner Court Hotel.
The owner of Sands China is one of six gambling business operators in the former Portuguese enclave.
Londoner was not built from scratch: it is a project of transformation and rebranding of the existing Holiday Inn hotel with 1.2 thousand rooms. $2 billion was invested in its reconstruction and expansion. As a result, a larger Londoner complex has emerged on this site, with 600 luxury suites, new gambling tables and vending machines, shops and restaurants. The first phase of the project is now opening.
A replica of Big Ben has been built next to the hotel, and the interior of the rooms is borrowed from the Palace of Westminster.
There is also a real doubledacker at the entrance to the hotel – a double-decker bus from London!
