The bronze statue is located at the intersection of Avenida Xian Xing and Rua de Berlim streets. Born in Macau, Xian Xinghai is considered a Chinese folk composer and a harbinger of modern Chinese music. The outstanding musician created many works, among which the cantata of the Yellow River is the most famous. This creation showed the valiant spirit and indomitable will of the Chinese people in the struggle for their homeland.
