At the top of the Koloansky Hill there is a majestic statue of A-Ma, the patron goddess of sailors. This beautiful statue, the creation of a local sculptor, is carved from white marble. It stands at an altitude of 19.99 meters above sea level and can be seen from a great distance in the area. The statue gives this place a sense of calm and harmony. This is an ideal site from which it is best to photograph the Pearl River Delta. In the village of A-Ma, located a stone’s throw from the statue, there is a temple built in honor of this goddess revered in Macau.
